How to activate T-Mobile local network
Wait! Please check first
Register after arriving in the USA
Registration is available after receiving the 'Activation Complete' notification between 00:00-12:00 (US Eastern Time) on the start date specified at ticket issuance.
Wi-Fi or data connection required
After arriving in the USA, turn off your phone for 5 minutes, then proceed while connected to the internet.
This product cannot be re-registered
If problems occur while using eSIM, don't delete it - contact customer support.
Add eSIM
Step 1.
Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM
Tap the 'Add' button
Set SIM Name
Step 1.
Edit SIM name and icon, then select 'Next'
This screen may be skipped depending on your device
Set Call SIM
Step 1.
Select 'SIM 1' or 'eSIM 1' for calls
Tap the Next button
SIM Settings Guide
**When set to 'SIM 1'** Calls/texts will use your existing SIM. **When set to 'eSIM 1'** Calls/texts will use the added eSIM.
Set Message SIM
Step 1.
Select 'SIM 1' for messages
Tap the Next button
Set Data SIM
Step 1.
Select 'eSIM 1' for data
Tap the Done button
Important!
Data SIM must be set to **'eSIM 1'** to use data in the USA.
Verify Settings
Step 1.
Check settings in SIM Manager

- eSIM 1 is properly added
- Mobile data is set to eSIM 1
- Data switch is set to OFF
If data switch is on, data may connect to the previously set SIM, which could incur charges. Keep it OFF!
Activation Complete
Step 1.
When eSIM activation is complete, you'll receive a carrier notification
Ready to use when T-Mobile network connects!

Visiting Canada or Mexico?
When arriving in those countries, go to **Settings > Connections > International Roaming** and turn **Data Roaming ON**. * If there's no International Roaming menu: Go to Settings > SIM Roaming > Details.
Having problems?
If problems occur while using eSIM, **do NOT delete the eSIM** and contact customer support.
